Detectives from CID Headquarters are currently in Navua to investigate the brutal killing of a 19 year old minivan driver of Waidova settlement, Navua yesterday.

Divisional Crime Officer Southern, Superintendent Tevita Lesu confirmed this morning that there were stab wounds found on the victim’s chest and neck and they are treating the case as murder.

The victim was last seen with two passengers in Pacific Harbour and his body was found in a pool of blood later in the afternoon.

Post mortem is expected to be conducted tomorrow to determine the cause of his death.
