A team of detectives from Lautoka and Nadi are investigating allegation that a 17 year old girl was allegedly gang raped in a village in Nadi a few days ago.
Divisional Crime Officer Western, SP Vijay Singh has confirmed that they are also investigating allegation that a police officer and a village chief is also involved in the alleged rape.
SP Singh has confirmed that investigation has started and more details will be revealed once the investigation is completed.
It is also alleged that some explicit pictures of the victim was also taken during the alleged gang rape.
