Digicel Fiji 7s coach, Alifereti Dere is now focusing on winning the World Cup 7s in Moscow.
Dere said all his focus is on that now and people should support the squad he has picked.
Meanwhile former national sevens and fifteens winger Marika Vunibaka believes there are other players who should be in the national 7s world cup training squad.
Vunibaka said it is not hard picking the best players for the world cup after the Marist 7s.
Meanwhile, there were revelations yesterday that National 7s selectors had ranked Fiji Bitter Marist 7s player of the tournament, Sere-maia Burotu as the number one choice prop for the Digicel Fiji 7s team for the World Cup but he was dropped by Alifereti Dere.
We have contacted FRU's High Performance Unit General Manager, Mike Ryan.
He has refused to make comments.
Fiji Rugby Union's Chairman, Filimoni Waqabaca has referred queries to FRU CEO, Manasa Baravilala.
