As we await the announcement of the 12 member Digicel Fiji 7s team for the World Cup in Russia, Coach Alifereti Dere is satisfied with the player’s fitness.
Dere who will name his team in the next hour said after last week’s fitness test he is happy with the progress so far especially with the overseas based players.
Dere has already hinted that experienced players and those who have speed to burn are expected to make the team.
The 7's Rugby World Cup will be held in Moscow from next Friday.
Fiji is pooled with defending champions Wales, Tonga and Uruguay.
