The Suva Water Supply Department is now looking at ways to ensure that when the there is a fault, water supply is not disrupted.
This follows an incident over the weekend that saw their generators in Tamavua trip yesterday, and left thousands in the greater Suva area without water supply.
Department spokesperson Maika Nagalu said that the unfortunate incident could not be avoided.
Meanwhile, residents living in high areas in Lami are still without water supply, as low water levels has resulted in the low pressure to pump water up to these high areas, however, water trucks are catering for these residents.
