People living in the Northern Division should make a concerted effort in destroying mosquito breeding places as there is a dengue outbreak in the division.
The Ministry of Health has received 17 confirmed cases of dengue from the Labasa Hospital within the last two weeks.
Minister for Health and Medical Services Jone Usamate said people living in the North should not take this warning lightly.
Meanwhile, National Advisor Communicable Diseases Dr Mike Kama believes that there may be more cases of dengue in the North.
