The Health officials are preparing for the dengue outbreak in the country and people are asked to take precautions.
Interim Health Minister Dr Jiko Luveni said about 53 suspected cases of dengue fever were recorded up until last Friday in various Health Centers and Hospitals in the Central, Eastern and Western Division.
She had called on people to take good care of themselves.
If you have a flu and fever, see a doctor, stay home and have a good bed rest. She said people should also take a lot of fluids.
Dr Luveni had advised people to destroy all mosquito breeding places in their compound.
