Many people who attended the Methodist Church Conference in Suva were found to be suffering from Dengue Fever in Cakaudrove.
The Sub-Divisional Medical Officer Cakaudrove Dr Mohammed Ishaaq said he treated seven cases last week however has not received any dengue cases this week so far.
He said after interviewing the patients he found out that these people had just returned from Suva after attending the Methodist Conference.
Dr Ishaaq said that controlling dengue is in the hands of the people.
Hospitals and Health Centres have to date reported 840 dengue cases.
