University of the South Pacific Economist, Dr Biman Prasad in addressing members of the Fiji Island Council of Trade Union this morning, said while democracy is never going to produce an outcome that will satisfy everyone, it is still the best system today.
Dr Prasad said while alot of talks have been said about better democracy in the country, it is still better than the way the current regime operates.
Prasad also said the political instability we current face will not help the country in moving forward.
Ousted Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase was also present at the meeting.
