Racial harmony will not be created by eliminating racial categorization in all government records and registers said Ousted Opposition Leader Mick Beddoes.
He said he is shocked to hear that the historical racial records will be removed, which he said has nothing to do with spreading unity in the country.
Beddoes said the critical factor in determining harmony is by having unity in individuals and not by deleting records that contain a person's race.
Beddoes was referring to Pillar 2 of the Draft People's Charter where it states that racial categorization in all government records and registers be eliminated.
