A delegation including the Interim Minister for Education is currently in the West as part of the strategy to improve the performance of schools in the three external examinations. The team will monitor the effective utilization of resources given by the Ministry.

The teams will visit and make assessments based on the Curriculum, Student achievement, teaching and learning, leadership and library.

The assessment should identify the needs of each school and from this exercise the ministry will be able to direct funds to cater for such needs.
