A delegation from the International Poverty Reduction Center in China headed by the Chairman Liu Jian is in the country to explore and see the different poverty alleviation strategies that could be developed for Fiji
Ministry of Social Welfare's Communication Officer, Anshoo Mala said the delegation will visiting the different housing projects in Navo and Sabeto settlement in Nadi along with other project sites in the western division.
Mala said after the visit the delegation will have better understanding and with the long bi-lateral relation that Fiji and China has, it is anticipated that a project will enable employment of those under the social welfare assistance in China.
The team who is in Fiji on the invitation extended by Social Welfare, Women and Poverty Alleviation Minister Dr Jiko Luveni will in here till Sunday.
