Sir James Ah Koy, Fiji's ambassador to China, said apart from cassava farming, the delegation he brought with him are here to also look at low cost housing.

Low cost housing would cost up to $31,000 per 2-3 bedroom house, built by 5 men in three days from recycled wood.

Ah Koy said the delegation has presented their proposal to the Housing Authority, the interim government and engineers adding discussions are still underway.

The ambassador said while the idea is here to stay, the main concern in this project would be funding, adding this could be financed via a bank loan with low interest.
