Delasau’s D-Day today
Delasau has not been able to train with the side for the whole of this week after being hit by a flu and is admitted at the Suva Private Hospital.
Coach Ilivasi Tabua said there is no need to get replacements from outside the squad as there are many capable players at hand to cover the wing's position.
Tabua added that he still has hope that Delasau will make it to France and is happy that Semisi Naevo, Isoa Domilailai and Wame Lewaravu are attending training sessions again.
The FMF Flying Fijians management team will be announcing their captain for the World Cup to France at mid-day today where the role is believed to go to Mosese Rauluni while Kele Leawere and Seremaia Bai are expected to be named as vice-captains.
