Delasau expresses opinion
Speaking on Viti-FM, Delasau said it really hurt him to hear and see that, despite the way the young Fiji team played against Lomaiviti in the Fiji Bitter Marist Sevens last Saturday, the boys were sworn at and booed at during the match.
He said some of his former team mates who he played with once were in the Lomaiviti team, they were the ones who should have set the example, for the young boys to learn from.
Delasau who is expected to be named as co-captain said the local based players named in the squad have a long way to go and they stand a good chance of coming back with the Melrose Cup.
Meanwhile, they are back.
France based Jone Daunivucu and Neumi Nanuku have arrived this morning to boost the Digicel Fiji Sevens team's chances of retaining the Melrose Cup.
Daunivucu was part of the 2005 team that won the Rugby World Cup tournament in Hong Kong beating New Zealand in the final by 29-19 while Nanuku was also part of Fiji's campaign in past years.
