Fiji 7s wing to the 2005 World Cup and France based Filimoni Delasau is banking on experience as the main component if Fiji is to defend the Melrose Cup in Dubai next month.
Delasau who is in the country preparing for selection into the team to the World Cup says that having local based players is not bad, but the team needs experience.
The Sorokaba villager says the transition to the 7's code is not hard, as they proved that in the last World Cup.
Delasau even played in a 7's tournament in Navua last week to try and get his groove back in the 7's code and will be in one of Fiji 7's teams to play in next week's Fiji Bitter Marist 7s at the National Stadium.
