Fiji’s golden boy Iliesa Delana is still coming to terms with what fellow Fijians did for him yesterday.
The 27-year-old still can’t believe the number of fans who lined the streets of Suva and the full traditional welcome ceremony that was accorded to him.
Delana said it really inspired him to go further in his career after watching people of all races coming together.
Delana added he was surprised especially with the President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.
The former Cuvu College student added the people of Fiji have given him more than enough and it will motivate others.
Meanwhile Delana’s sponsor Digicel will be calling a press conference at 1pm on Monday in relation to Delana’s win last week.
