Fiji’s Sportsman of the Year Iliesa Delana is our top bet for a medal at the Paralympic Games in London tomorrow.
Delana will compete in the F42 high jump and hopes are high that he will finish in the top three as there are only seven athletes competing in his event.
Delana has the second best jump in his field with a height of 1.73 metres while a Polish jumper has the best jump with a height of 1.82 meters.
Speaking from London, Team Fiji official Sainiana Tukana said Delana is ready.
Delana will compete at 6:50am tomorrow and it is a straight out final.
