Digicel Fiji 7s coach Iliesa Tanivula and his assistant Joe Savou will have a busy schedule ahead of the New Zealand 7s next weekend.

The Fiji 7s coaching staff will have to iron out a few weaknesses in the team after today’s warm up games against Red Rock and Wardens.

Again the poor defensive line proved to be their main enemy with players failing to make their first tackle count.

Tanivula said that this will be an area they have to get right before the first game against France next Friday and also try to win their kick offs.

In today’s game he used most of his new caps in the run on team in the likes of Peni Gaunimeke, Nemani Nagusa, Semesa Gonevou, Kelemedi Bola and Apisai Navoro.

The side will leave on Monday and is in Pool D in Wellington with South Africa, France and Canada.

The New Zealand 7s kicks off on Friday.
