The Navua soccer team is through to the semifinals of the Courts IDC after the team won the protest against Nadroga yesterday.
Fiji Football Association made a ruling in favor of Navua where it was found that Nadroga team player, Koshmick Kumar was not eligible to play for Nadroga.
According to the Fiji FA, Kumar is a contracted player with an US based club and did not provide his International Transfer Certificate.
With the protest going in Navua's favor, Nadi is now out of the semifinals.
Meanwhile, Fiji FA President, Dr Samsu Dean Sahu Khan has cleared the air saying that Navua was not given more time for the hearing of the protest.
The first semifinal of the Courts IDC will now be between Navua and Lautoka while the second semifinal will be between Rewa and Labasa.
