Defending Suva Zone 1 Champs Confident
Defending girls Division Champions RSMS said they have prepared well and they know they have what it takes to take the girls title back to Nabua.
Captain Elesi Turagabeci said they are also aware that competition this year will be tough.
Similar sentiments have been echoed by defending boys division champions Nasinu Secondary School. Boys Captain Gabriel Ropate said whoever walks away winners this afternoon will depend on who has prepared well.
Meanwhile, Cathedral Secondary School has now taken the lead in the Girls Division with 2 Gold and 2 Silver, second is Namosi with 2 gold 1 silver and 3rd is Dudley High with 2 gold and 3 bronze.
In the Boys Division defending champions, Nasinu Secondary School is on track to defend their title as they now lead with 4 Gold, 4 Silver and 2 Bronze, Wainimakutu from Namosi is second with 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 3 Bronze and in third place is LDS with 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 bronze.
No records have been broken so far, as the organisers have had to rely on the 2007 records, after last years hosts, Ballantine Memorial School did not keep last year's records.
