Defending Japan 7's champions, Australia have made three changes to their squad for the seventh round of the IRB 7's series.
Head coach Michael O’Connor will be without Sean McMahon, Shannon Walker and Ben Adams for their title defense.
In 2012, Australia beat Samoa 28-26 in the Cup final, a side they face in Pool D this weekend along with England and Argentina.
Meanwhile, former Flying Fijians head coach Ilivasi Tabua said the Digicel Fiji Sevens team needs strategic planning if they want to win the Series.
Tabua said we should be looking at the whole series and not just focus on single tournaments.
Fiji will play South Africa at 1.44pm this Saturday in its first pool match of the Japan 7's.
