Defending the Gold Coast sevens title will be a huge task, not only for the players but for Coach Timoci Wainiqolo as well as he will need to prove his worth.
Wainiqolo said this would be his biggest challenge but his side is all geared up this tournament.
Wainiqolo added that the likely line up to take on Scotland in their first game will see Lepani Botia, Apisai Domolailai and Ulaiyasi Lawavou in the forwards while Joji Ragamate, Samisoni Viriviri, Osea Kolinisau and Alipate Raitini will be running in the backline.
The Digicel Fiji Sevens will leave the country tomorrow.
The Gold Coast 7s kicks off this Saturday with Fiji taking on Scotland in their first match at 2.42pm.
