The Digicel Fiji Sevens team arrived home today with coach Etuate Waqa admitting that some of the weaknesses from the NZ and USA Sevens will take time to address.

Speaking to Fijivillage, Waqa said that the defensive problem which stood out like a sore thumb in the loss to NZ in the final in Wellington and the close 14-12 defeat to Samoa in Las Vegas is something he had spent time looking at with the players during their trip.

Known as one of the most aggressive players in his days in the rugby union and rugby league code, Waqa said that coaches at club and provincial level have a lot of input in the way a player plays his game before he is selected into the national side.

He added players that played in the first leg and those who returned today will be assessed before a decision is made on the team for the next leg.
