The Lautoka Soccer Association will have to wait till tomorrow to see whether Ba striker Osea Vakatalesau can play for them against Navua in the opening Champion vs Champion series on Sunday.

Fiji FA Chief Executive Bob Kumar said a decision is expected tomorrow for Vakatalesau on whether he can play for Lautoka although Ba has not released him.

It is understood that Vakatalesau will also be given the green light to play for Lautoka by the Fiji FA, after Lautoka soccer paid the amount asked by Ba soccer, to Fiji FA.

Meanwhile, Navua midfielder Alvin Avinesh will join Lautoka this season. Bob Kumar said Lautoka paid $12,000 for his release to the Fiji FA however saying that the amount asked by Navua is too much even though they had a contract with Avinesh.

Kumar said they will discuss this money matter at the Fiji FA Board of Control meeting on Sunday in Lautoka

Lautoka will meet Navua in the opening match of the CVC series on Sunday at 3pm at Churchill Park.
