The decision on whether schools around Fiji will be open tomorrow is expected to be made late this afternoon.

Education Minister Filipe Bole said he still has to talk to DISMAC officials and assess the weather situation before making any decision.

Meanwhile, Bole said that in order for the Ministry to prepare for school to schools are requested to report any damage incurred to Ministry Headquarters.

He said the Ministry will need to make quick decisions regarding schools and how to plan for their start which can only be possible after a careful analysis of school damages.

School Heads are requested to report to their District Education Offices as soon as they are cleared from the effects of the cyclone.

Bole said the Ministry will want schools to start as soon as possible but work on a realistic plan of action.
