Prime Minister, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama has today confirmed that cabinet will make the decision on the appointment of the President later.
Commodore Bainimarama said there is no hurry and Vice President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau will be the Acting President for the time being.
Cabinet will decide on who should become Fiji's next President and the name will be submitted to the Chief Justice, Anthony Gates.
The Chief Justice will then appoint the new President.
