The December 5th takeover case has been adjourned yet again this morning.

Lawyers representing ousted Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase and Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama met behind closed doors this morning and also held consultations with the presiding judges.

And while the case was to resume at 11am, court officials later confirmed that it has been stood down yet again.

It is believed that both counsels have not been able to come to an agreement on list of witnesses and the agreed facts in the case and have requested time for further consultations. Qarase senior counsel Tevita Fa when approached outside the court house referred all questions to Lead counsel in the case Gerad McCoy who is yet to comment.

The case resumes 10am tomorrow.
