The significance of winning the Coca Cola Zero Deans trophy to defending champion Lelean Memorial School and Nasinu Secondary School has seen players deciding to pull out of the Fiji U-19 team to tour Samoa next week.

National Selectors Osea Umuumulovo said that to most of the players in both teams, winning the Deans trophy comes only once in their rugby career and they will want to be part of the team to be crowned the 2009 Deans champion.

Umuumulovo adds this will not affect the Fiji U-19 teams preparation for the FORU tournament in Samoa, where they will be out to avenge last years defeat to Tonga in the final.

Players from schools like RKS, Lomawai, Rt Navula, Natabua and other schools will are part of the Fiji team to Samoa.

Teams from Samoa, Tonga, Papua New Guinea and Fiji will be part of the FORU tournament.

The U-19 finals kicks off at 4:20pm tomorrow and a commentary of the match can be heard on our sister station Viti FM.
