Australia coach Robbie Deans is keen to know whether lock James Horwill will be cleared by the International Rugby Board to take on the Lions.

Deans must wait until Monday to find out if his second-row forward can take on the tourists in this Saturday’s winner-takes-all showdown.

The Wallabies skipper was cleared of stamping on Alun-Wyn Jones in the opening game of the three-match series, which the Lions won 23-21.

However, the IRB subsequently appealed the decision, with Horwill, although able to play the second Test, being in doubt for the third game.

The Wallabies meet the Lions in the last test at 10pm this Saturday.
