After all the hype and build up this week, many have described the Coke Zero Deans semifinals as the battle between the provinces of Tailevu, Lomaiviti and Nadroga.

Defending champions, Queen Victoria School and Eastern Zone champion, Ratu Kadavulevu School will be representing Tailevu, Saint John’s College will be backed by the province of Lomaiviti while Cuvu College will be supported by the people of Nadroga and the whole of Western Division.

The first semi final between RKS and Cuvu College is expected to be a thriller with Cuvu boasting some real threat in their backline including fullback Ilaisa Droasese, winger Solomoni Donu and Tito Bai while RKS fullback Saint George, Sisi Talei, center, Jiuta Wainiqolo and winger Kameli Sauduadua are some of the big names who are expected to shine.

RKS Principal Peni Senikarawa believes they have a lot to work on after their narrow win over Marist Brothers High School last week.

Cuvu College Principal Navneet Mishra says they will have a lot of support from the west at the grounds today.

He adds that they have been working hard to improve on executing their set pieces well to break the strong RKS defensive line.

The first Under 18 semifinal between RKS and Cuvu College will kick of 2.30pm while QVS will face Saint John’s College at 4pm today at the ANZ Stadium.

Meanwhile, the first semi-final of the Under 14 grade between RKS and Suva Grammar School will kick off at 8.40am at Bidesi Park while the second semi between QVS and Marist will start at 9am at the ANZ stadium.
