Deans Trophy rests with Lelean
This is a second year in a row that the title remains with the Davuilevu Boys after a spectacular performance. Though the Nasinu boys scored the first try, the Leleanites came back firing and kept up a strong defence in the second half that saw them counter alot of attempts at goal by Nasinu.
Meanwhile Suva Grammar Under 19 rugby side remains on track to get promoted back to the Tier One competition after they beat Tailevu North 10-7 in the Tier 2 final.
They will now face RKS in the Promotion Relegation series after RKS beat RSMS in the Tier 1 playoff's by 16 points to 3.
In the other games played from this morning, RKS won the Under 14 final beating QVS 26-0. In the Under 15 final QVS beat RKS 13-5, In the Under 16 final QVS won 16-10 over RKS, in the Under 17 final RKS beat QVS 13-10 and in the Under 18 final RKS beaten Lelean Memorial School by 22 points to 6.
Now in the Tier 2 competition, the Under 15 final was won by Dudley when they defeated Navosa 29-5, In the Under 16 Tier 2 John Wesley beat Holy Cross 12-3, in the Under 17 Tier 2 Naitasiri beat Dudley 10-5 and in the Under 18 Tier 2 Sila beat Saint Thomas 10-7.
