The Viti Resource Owners Association believes that it will be very difficult to try and steer the country forward through the People's Charter as it would be introduced by an illegal government.
President of the Resource Owners Association, Ratu Osea Gavidi said Fiji should try and determine the root causes of the events of the past coups in Fiji before trying to tackle issues proposed in the Charter.
The Peoples Charter was launched by the President early this week. Meanwhile Interim Prime Minister Bainimarama earlier stressed that Fiji will not have the next elections until the country has a People's Charter that will work on having a truly democratic and united nation.
