New Zealand born prop Deacon Manu will captain the Flying Fijians for the second time when he leads the team out against France this Sunday.

The Flying Fijians team management officially announced the tight-head prop as the team captain at a media conference today in France.

Team manager Talemo Waqa revealed the decision to appoint Manu captain was a unanimous one.

The former Waikato Chiefs and New Zealand Maori player made his debut for Fiji in 2009 against Scotland and first captained Fiji in June in the one off Test against the Wallabies.

Meanwhile, the Flying Fijians will go through another training run tomorrow after which the final starting 15 will be announced.

The Flying Fijians take on France at 6am this Sunday.
