Wales based tight head prop Deacon Manu is already on his way to join the Flying Fijians team ahead of their opening Test match against Scotland on Sunday.
It has been confirmed from the Fiji camp that Manu will play in the game against Scotland and will return to Wales where his wife is expected to give birth.
With his inclusion head Coach, Glen Ella is hoping this will assist the forwards as he is the only specialist named for the number 3 jumper.
Manu qualifies to play for Fiji through his mother who is a Fijian, and according to IRB regulation 8.1, the criteria is for him to play for a Test side, is either the country he is born in, or the country that one parent or grandparent is born in.
Meanwhile, the management team has not decided on whether they will perform the traditional Fijian war dance "cibi" in their opening Test match against Scotland this Sunday.
Media Liason Officer, Vilikesa Rinavuaka said the decision will be made when the team is named on Friday morning.
Early this year, during the Pacific Nations Cup, France based Seremaia Bai did not take part in the "cibi" as it was against his religious belief. He is a member of the New Methodist Church.
Current coach designate, Samu Domoni Jnr is in the same denomination as Bai. Domoni is also the pastor of the team in the Europe tour.
The "cibi" has been part of the Fiji team since 1939 when they first toured New Zealand under the leadership of Ratu Sir George Cakobau.
Fiji will take on Scotland on Sunday at 2.30am.
