The Chief Executive of Fiji Employers Federation said that daylight saving that will start from this Sunday has its merits and demerits.
Nesbitt Hazelman said he understands the government decided to start daylight saving again so that families could spend more time together, exercise and spend time in their gardens.
However, Hazelman said it also affects students, workers and businesses.
Hazelman said that starting businesses an hour late can be an option however much cannot be said on the matter yet.
Daylight Saving will start at 2am tomorrow where people will have to wind their clocks an hour forward to 3am.
It will end on March 6th next year.
