The Chief Executive of Fiji Employers Federation said that daylight saving that will start from this Sunday has its merits and demerits.

Nesbitt Hazelman said he understands the government decided to start daylight saving again so that families could spend more time together, exercise and spend time in their gardens.

However, Hazelman said it also affects students, workers and businesses.

It will end on March 6th next year.
