The Chairman of Tourism Fiji has welcomed the decision made by Cabinet to re-introduce daylight saving.
Patrick Wong said daylight savings mean more utilization of daylight and more economic activity.
Cabinet has approved the re-introduction of daylight saving in Fiji from the 29th of this month at 2am to Sunday 25th April, 2010 at 3am.
As in 1998 and 1999, the time throughout Fiji during daylight saving will be in advance of the standard time by one hour.
