Daylight saving will end tomorrow morning the 28th of March at 3.00 am.

This means that early tomorrow morning you have to wind your clocks back by one hour.

Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum had earlier stated that Daylight Saving had been very positive and had allowed people to a lot more things with more daylight hours available.

Daylight savings will again commence from 24th October this year to March 2011.

Meanwhile the Education Ministry said on Monday classes reverts to the school timetable prior to daylight savings.

Education Minister Filipe Bole said the Ministry is conscious of the fact that schools had different starting times before daylight savings was introduced and they are to return to those times as of Monday 29th March.

Daylight savings which ends tomorrow morning brought about some issues of students reaching their schools late, prompting the Ministry to move the start time for all schools to 9am.
