Netball Fiji coach Vilimaina Davu will don the national colours in next week’s World Netball Championships in New Zealand and will be back in her favourite Goal-Defender’s position.
While a lot of questions have been raised on whether Davu is eligible to play for Fiji in the World meet, Village Sports has received confirmation that she will be part of the 12 member team.
When contacted yesterday, Davu said that she is still waiting confirmation from IFNA on the stand-down period.
Davu has already announced the 10 players from the 12 member team that will be travelling to New Zealand with two other players to be named this weekend.
Fiji's opening pool game in the WNC is against Singapore on Sunday next week followed by the crucial game against Jamaica on the 12th and against Cook Islands on the 13th.
