Fiji Netball coach/player Vilimaina Davu is ready to play the dual role in the World Netball Championship.

She will be the only one at the championship to coach and play at the same time although assistant coach Elizabeth Freeman will be assisting her from the sidelines.

Speaking to Village sports, Davu said she will not feel any pressure while playing and coaching.

Davu said all the players in the squad know what sort of pressure and task they have ahead of them.

The World Netball Championship gets underway tomorrow with the opening match between the Silver Ferns and Malawi at 7:10pm.

Fiji will open their World Championship campaign against Singapore on Sunday at 3:10pm.
