Fiji Netball team Coach Vilimaina Davu is highly likely to play in the World Netball championship.

Davu who just returned with the team after their build-up in Australia could be the 11th player in the 12 member squad.

Davu who also played for the Silver Ferns is rated as one of the best defenders in the World and her inclusion as a player could solve Fiji netball's defensive problems.

Netball Fiji on Saturday announced the 10 players while two more places are left to be filled. The player’s registration for the World championship is still open and it is believed that Netball Fiji is keeping all its options open.

Meanwhile the 10 players that were named are: Taraima Rara, Matelita Shaw, Aliti Seru, Maria Bereso, Ana Erenavula, Simone Nalatu, Talei Bari, Matila Waqanidrola, Marjorie Par and Mere Rabuka.

Fiji's opening match at the World Netball championship will be against Singapore on 11th November.
