Fiji Netball team coach Vilimaina Davu has high hopes that the squad that has been selected, will lift the bar at next month's World Netball Championships in New Zealand.
Davu said that after only spending a few months with the girls, she feels that they have grown in their knowledge of the game and have also gained alot of confidence.
Speaking to Village sports, Davu said that the girls know what is expected of them when they meet the top teams in the World, during the championships.
Meanwhile, of the twelve players to represent Fiji at the World Cup, ten have already been chosen and it is highly likely that the former Silver Ferns defender will take the court in Auckland.
Efforts to get a comment from the team officials remained futile.
Fiji's opening match at the World Netball championship will be against Singapore on the 11th of November.
