Despite missing a number of star players in their side, Daveta is aiming to win its first ever Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast 7s.
Team manager Eapi Deku says despite the absence of national 7s reps, Viliame Mata, Jerry Tuwai, Savenaca Rawaca and Apisai Domolailai they are targetting to make it to the final.
Deku says other players are in the team who can step up and guide them through the tournament.
Players who are expected to lead Daveta's campaign are Sakiusa Gavidi, Jiuta Lutumailagi and Sekonaia Kalou.
Daveta lost to Police in the final of the 2013 tournament.
The Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast 7s will be held from next Thursday to Saturday at Lawaqa Park.
