The 14-year-old daughter of the woman who was allegedly murdered in Kabisi, Sigatoka yesterday is still admitted in the Lautoka Hospital after sustaining serious injuries.
Police say the 53-year-old man who allegedly murdered his 45-year-old defacto and also allegedly assaulted the girl is still in police custody.
They say the girl is the suspects step-daughter.
It is alleged that the suspect struck the woman with a cane knife which resulted in her death.
