Datta may open own retail outlet
James Datta said he is just 57 years old and has 37 years of experience in the retail industry after working at Burns Philp Group and Courts Homecentres.
Datta who is affectionately known as "Tatalevu" said there is a solid option that he may start a retail outlet at the right time.
Datta who is an Australian citizen has also made this revelation.
Meanwhile in a statement the shareholders of the Vision Group confirm that following a reorganisation of the management structure of Vision Group, the position of Managing Director of Courts Homecentres Fiji has now become surplus.
Chairman, Dilip Khatri said accordingly a settlement has been reached and James Datta has relinquished the position as of the 31st of last month. Khatri said Datta will continue to assist the shareholders in his new role as a non-Executive Director of the company.
However Datta has told Fijivillage News that he is not aware of the details of the position and has not taken up the offer as yet.
