The suspended Chief Justice, Daniel Fatiaki has handed in his resignation effective from today after a settlement was reached with the President's office according to the Interim Attorney General.
Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum confirms that all allegations against Justice Fatiaki will now be withdrawn.
Sayed-Khaiyum said the former Chief Justice will receive $275,000 in compensation from the Government.
Meanwhile one of Fatiaki's lawyers, John Apted was contacted and was not available for a comment.
Fatiaki could not be reached for a comment this afternoon.
