A 29 year old man charged with causing death by dangerous driving appeared in the Sigatoka Magistrate’s Court today.
It is alleged that Sheikh Ahmed Ali hit an 8 year old boy at Natadola Road on Monday.
He was rushed to the Sigatoka Hospital but was announced dead upon arrival.
No plea has been taken and he was allowed bail on a sum of $1000 with assurity and was ordered to surrender his passport and all travel documents and not to interfere with witnesses.
The case has been adjourned till 18th August.
