A 27 year old man charged with causing death by dangerous driving and failing to report to police appeared in Lautoka Magistrate’s Court today.
Nitesh Prasad Karan has been alleged to have hit a 27-year-old man on Friday who was later found dead. The plea has been deferred and he has been bailed on a sum of $1000 and assurity of $1000.
The case has been adjourned till 6th May for mention. Karan was arrested at a checkpoint by police officers after they discovered dents on the vehicle.
