Dan Rawaqa ruled out of 7s team
Coach Iliesa Tanivula has confirmed that Rawaqa has opted to concentrate on his 15s rugby career adding they will now have to look for a replacement from the 17 names that were submitted on the 23rd of July.
Meanwhile, on the Colonial Farebrother, Tanivula said he knows that Tailevu has tasted what it feels like to win the Colonial Farebrother Sullivan trophy and will be in full force this weekend to try and wrestle the title.
While it will be his second defence for the season, Tanivula is relying heavily on his assistant, Vuata Naresia, Bill Gadolo and Apisai Naevo to iron out the weaknesses they found in the game against Namosi.
Tanivula will join the team on Wednesday afternoon and is confident that they will not repeat the same mistakes against Tailevu, where they had to play with 14 players in most parts of the game last Saturday.
Nadi will take on Tailevu at 3pm on Saturday at Prince Charles Park and a live commentary can be heard on our sister radio station Viti FM.
