All we want is for the government to remember us small time farmers.

Those were the words of Robin Powell who is a dalo farmer in Delaivuna, Taveuni who is calling on the government to look into the reasons behind why dalo prices are always fluctuating and no reason is given by the buyers on why it happens.

Powell said the price of dalo can drop to as low as $1.40 a kg and they find it hard to cope with the rise of farming essentials like fertilizers.

Powell said the government should look into the pricing structure and how it works because it had not been steady for a long time.
